Q. What is included with boat and PWC (Personal Water Craft) rentals?

A. PWC rentals come with life vests and wetsuits. Powerboat rentals come with life vests and wetsuits and a free pair of combination (double) skis OR a free small tube. The pontoon boats come with life vests and a free tube. Gas is not included in the price of the boat and PWC rentals--they must be returned full.

Q. Do the renters trailer the boats and PWC?

A. No. We are located very near the Third Street boat launch in Coeur d’Alene and we deliver and launch the boats and watercraft for you. We have everything you need for an enjoyable rental experience. You just show up prepared to have fun!

Q. Can boats and watercraft be rented overnight?

A. Yes, the boats can be rented on a multiple day basis if you have a safe moorage for them. Many of our customers rent or own houses on the lake or stay with friends who have lakeside cabins. But don’t worry if you can’t store the equipment overnight—we will be happy to retrieve the equipment and launch it for you the next day at no extra charge! We regret that we cannot rent the PWCs overnight.

Q. Are there discounts for multiple day rentals?

A. Yes! Our multiple day discounts on the boats start at three days. For rentals of 3 or 4 consecutive days, the normal daily rate is discounted $25 per day. For rentals of 5 or more consecutive days, the normal daily rate is discounted $35 per day.

Q. Do you allow skis, boards and tubes to be pulled by your rental equipment?

A. Yes, we allow the boats to pull towables. We do not allow towing with the PWCs.

Q. What kind of towables do you have for rent?

A. We have combination (double) water skis, slalom skis, junior and trainer skis, wake boards, knee boards and tubes! Of course, we have plenty of ski and tube ropes available as well. Our boat rentals include a free pair of combination skis OR a small tube, and we have a modest charge for the other skis, boards and tubes. Because we don’t believe in hidden charges, we do not charge for such items as ski flags and tow ropes.

Q. Do you deliver to other area lakes or other boat launches on Lake Coeur d’Alene?

A. Sometimes we do, but we are usually so busy launching and retrieving at the Third Street launch on Lake Coeur d' Alene, that we are unable to pull staff away to deliver to more remote locations. Nevertheless, if you would like delivery to Hayden Lake for a multiple day rental, please ask. We just may be able to accommodate your request.

Q. What do we need to do to rent a boat or PWC?

A. Rental requirements:

  1. For reservations call us at 1-888-665-0686. (During the off-season, Labor Day to Memorial Day weekend, call (208) 818-5544). Please have a credit card handy.
  2. Have a valid driver’s license.
  3. Be at least 21 years of age.
  4. Have a major credit card available for a damage deposit for the equipment rental.
  5. Be prepared to pay for your rental with a major credit card or cash.
  6. Sign a rental agreement and liability waiver. For PWC rentals, the State of Idaho requires that we show a safety video and provide you with instruction on state laws pertaining to PWCs. We will provide you with proof of education which you will carry with you on the PWC.

Q. Where do we go for our rental?

A. Please come to our storefront located at 622 E. Sherman Avenue in Coeur d’Alene. We will take care of the paperwork, payment, safety video and you may pick out your life vests. You will then proceed to the boat launch at Third Street next to the Coeur d’Alene Resort. We will instruct and orient you on the operation of the boat or watercraft and send you off on your adventure!
